CAN I ACCESS YOUR ONLINE CLASSES AT ANY TIME?

Classes are live virtual sessions taught by an instructor with over 25 years experience. This is not your typical online video. Classes are offered in the studio located at 67 West Chicago Street. Feel free to bring your own mat and a friend! 

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE SAUNA?

Yes, phones are able to be used inside the sauna! These are smart units that contain an Android Control Pad. The tablet provides access to the six pre-set health programs. You can watch your favorite streaming services or listen to music, podcasts, or meditations during your session. 

WHAT DO I WEAR FOR A SAUNA SESSION? 

Loose fitting clothing or swimwear is highly recommended, come prepared to sweat! Shoes are not permitted inside saunas for any reason. Also, don't forget to hydrate prior to your session.

Nature brings us infrared light. It’s the healthy, healing rays that come from the sun. You’ve felt infrared your entire life. When you sit next to a fire or feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Infrared also helps plants bloom and just the right amount helps stems grow fast and strong.

WHAT IS THE SAUNA PROTOCOL?

Follow this quick guide for the optimal sauna experience.

PRE SAUNA SESSION

  • Hydrate with at least 8 oz (.24 L) of water to prepare your body for an increase in core temperature.

  • Wear loose fitting clothing or a swimwear.

  • Use towels to absorb sweat during sessions.

  • Please do not take any beverages into the sauna.

  • Shoes are not permitted inside sauna for any reason.

DURING SAUNA SESSION

  • The optimal sauna experience occurs between 100.4°F (38°C) and 129°F (54°C).

  • To get your body accustomed to infrared therapy, start with 10-15 minute sessions at
    100.4°F (38°C) every other day.

  • Gradually increase towards    40-minute daily sessions in the optimal temperature range.*

  • Don't be surprised if you don't sweat during the first few sessions.

  • Sweating will increase with regular use, removing toxins and leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated

POST SAUNA SESSION

  • Drink at least 24 oz (.7 L) of water or electrolyte to rehydrate.

  • Dry off with a towel. Cool down naturally or with a refreshing shower.
